HurShimChung Bräu‘s homemade beer

The Bräu homemade beer is directly brewed and served with in-store Micro Brewery, a small-scale beer brewing system, using the basic raw materials including malt, hops, yeast and fresh water. Brewed using only natural ingredients and not treated with filtering unlike ordinary beers, it keeps the essential nutrients such as minerals, vitamins and proteins intact, which makes it quite a healthy beer that stimulates metabolism.

Types of HurShimChung Bräu‘s beers

  • Pils - Lager4.8 percent proof / Being Germany's representative beer, it tastes sweet and fresh followed by slightly bitter and clean aftertaste, making it the beer anyone can enjoy with affordable indulgence. (Bottom fermenting)
  • Weizen - Ale4.8 percent proof / Brewed with top fermenting method using wheat and barley, the beer produces rich head as well as soft and delicate fruity flavor. (Top fermenting)
  • Dunkel - Dark4.8 percent proof / Being the dark beer brewed with bottom fermenting method using properly roasted malt, the house beer is the best of its kind and produces soft fragrance and savory flavor like no other.
  • Geumjeong - Ale, season-limited4.8 percent proof / Brewed with top fermenting method, the ale is characterized by its soft head and golden color along with rich fruit flavor and mildly bitter taste.

House beer brewing method

  • Top fermentingFermented at relatively high temperature (10 to 20℃), the beer includes weizen, etc.
    Producing refreshing and sweet taste, the soft beer has a shorter fermentation period than that of the bottom fermenting method (about 2 weeks of fermentation)
  • Bottom fermentingFermented at relatively low temperature (5 to 10℃), the beer accounts for about 3/4 of world beer production. Lager beer, draft beer and Pils (Phils) are typical bottom fermented beers.
    Dunkel is also the dark beer belonging to bottom fermented category (3 to 4 weeks of fermentation).
